David began his career in public accounting at RSM (fka McGladrey) performing financial statement audits of primarily middle-market companies. He left after four years to take a role in financial planning & reporting, working for a private equity backed company in the aftermarket parts industry. After five years in corporate accounting and finance, he decided he wanted to work with smaller organizations, focused on leaner solutions. He took a job with a boutique CFO services firm out of Neptune Beach, FL and spent the next four years working with a variety of different clients in a variety of different industries.
In 2023, David decided to pursue his own vision for what an outsourced accounting services offering could look like, starting Bodhi Books.
David earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and his Master's degree in Accounting from Florida State University. He holds a CPA certification in the state of Florida.
In addition to being an avid sports fan, David enjoys traveling, yoga and Buddhist studies.
